Also, I want to share that I just finished a 6 week dance workshop, my first completed dance class as an adult, and I’m feeling proud. It was challenging and pushed me in ways I was surprised by. There were nights I left feeling confident and nights I left feeling like I wanted to cry. But one thing I’ve learned is I’m capable of doing scary things! I joined this dance class alone, hoping to find community, and I did it! I have also decided I’m going to keep taking dance classes with my instructor, as I really just love moving my body, even if I’m not always the best at it. Getting myself out of my comfort zone has been exciting. And if you want to do something that feels scary, I encourage you to try!
