Hey y'all - A lil life update... When I was on the road through the holidays in Dec / Jan, my pup started having some health issues that we still haven't gotten to the botttom of. And it all started on the cusp of when I had been planning to hit the road full-time...I had to quickly pivot my focus from preparing to start an exciting new chapter to instead making sure my pup receives the best care she can get. Last week at a follow-up appointment, my vet found something concerning in an ultrasound. We are waiting to get results back so that we can rule out anything malignant...🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I haven't been able to bring myself to type this out until now because it's all a lot to process. Until Panda is back to her healthy and spry self, we are taking it easy and staying put close to her vet. The road awaits...and the journey will be made that much sweeter when a healthy Adventure Panda and I finallyyyyy get to take off for real 🧡 In the meantime, stay tuned to explore more of my horny homebody side...😘 Thanks so much for sticking with me through the highs and lows. Heyy there wild thang - Not the sexiest photo, but a very special one to me. My pup Panda had bladder surgery yesterday. What a relief now that it’s over 😭 I can breathe again. I feel like I’m slowly stepping out of the twilight zone that has been our life the last few months that she’s been unwell. I'm no longer in a constant state of overwhelm and anxiety. She’s a lil trooper and is recovering like a champ. I am so grateful ♥️ Now that I can finally plan for my future with clarity again, I can’t wait to hit the road full-time with my Adventure Panda 🐼 Unfortunately, A LOT of my van life savings had to be redirected to pay for Panda’s vet care the past few months. I was planning on having this full video edited and sent out tonight with a super sexy, super thought-provoking caption I was excited to write…and then I brought my pup to the vet today for her twice yearly check-up and learned that she has small stones in her bladder again (she had to have surgery for bladder stones a couple years ago)…I haven’t been in the best headspace since coming back from the vet and have been struggling to focus on work in full transparency. I’m holding out hope they aren’t the same stones she had last time and that she’s able to pass them before she gets re-scanned in 3 months so we don’t have to face another surgery 🤞🏻♥️🐼 I know nonstop worrying isn’t going to help either of us….but I’m in my feels tonight and think I need to stop trying to force myself into work mode when my brain is elsewhere…I’m gonna give myself the rest of the night off to decompress and give my Panda extra cuddles. I've been feeling pretty down this week, not gonna lie. Sending love to anyone else struggling rn. I feel like I'm having deja vu going into a new year with my dog's health up in the air...Two years ago almost exactly, I brought Panda into an emergency vet on a December road trip - that started the months long process of diagnosing her and ultimately having to put her through bladder surgery. We have to wait 3 months now to know if she'll need another surgery - the uncertainty has been making me anxious, down, and unable to focus...which in turn has made me more stressed out cuz I'm behind on editing, filming customs, and answering messages. Vicious cycle. Life just feels kinda heavy rn. And I haven't been doing the things I know I need to do to feel baseline like myself...(climbing, yoga, just moving my body in general).
