"My Dress-Up Darling" has officially ended today… and it still doesn’t feel real.

This series changed my life years ago. I still remember one of the first arts of Shizuku-tan I saw—her aesthetic, her hair reminiscent of my beloved waifu, Shuten… I was instantly obsessed. I remember thinking, I need to squeeze her cosplay into my packed schedule somehow. And that was just the beginning. That one piece of art pulled me into the manga, and then, before I knew it, the anime was airing. By then, I had already made my first Marin costumes—some of which, funnily enough, were based on lingerie from my favorite brand, pieces I already had at home.

Watching Marin grow, chase her dreams, and ultimately live her best life as Gojo’s wife was nothing short of magical. I adore teenage Marin—her passion, her boundless enthusiasm, the way she radiates sunshine—but adult Marin? She resonates with me even more. A version of her, living her dream, sharing her life with someone who loves and understands her… that’s something truly special.

Even though the series has ended, my journey with it is far from over. My story continues, with my project #CiwciaMarin, and my love for this series will stay with me for a long, long time.
