Being a bisexual man in the adult content world is a unique experience that’s brought both opportunity and challenges. On one hand, I’ve found a platform where I can express different sides of myself and connect with people who appreciate authenticity. On the other, it often feels like I’m walking a tightrope—too “straight” for some, not “gay enough” for others, and constantly up against assumptions about what my content should look like.

It’s not just about labels, it’s about how people treat you once they’ve decided you belong in a certain box. There’s pressure to lean into stereotypes because they sell, or to avoid showcasing the full spectrum of who you are because it “confuses” an audience. Sometimes I wonder if people are following me for me, or just for what they expect from a bisexual performer.

I’ve had to learn resilience—how to take criticism without letting it crush me, and how to remind myself that my worth isn’t defined by whether someone else thinks I fit their category. At the same time, I’ve also had incredible support from fans who tell me that seeing someone openly bisexual in this space makes them feel more seen. That makes the grind worth it.

I’m sharing this not to complain, but because I know there are others navigating the same crossroads of sexuality, identity, and visibility. If you’ve been in similar shoes—whether in adult work or just life in general—I’d love to hear how you’ve dealt with the push and pull of authenticity vs. expectation.
