DAY 1 of my 7 day challenge! I just thrifted a new headstand chair because want to get more comfortable doing inversions in my yoga practice and I’m bringing you with me for the journey!

I want to document my progress and figured why not do a naked version for you to follow along with 😝

To be clear!! I’m not good at this yet, but I’m excited to see the progress over time and this is step 1 of building that habit

I want to try different angles so if you have any suggestions please let me know 🥰


Day 1 Notes:
I was surprised to see how important controlled breathing is for this exercise! I was so excited to try it the first night that I didn’t necessarily stretch so I’m going to make it a point to do that before my sessions going forward. It does take a moment for the 🩸 flow to go back to your head so taking breaks in between is essential. Think I’ll try putting a yoga mat down on the floor next time so the landing is a little easier on my knees! I’m curious to see if I enjoy it more at the start of my day or the end of the day before bed so tomorrow I want to try it in the morning and compare how I felt.
