Rosy red cheeks shy displaying nervousness
The gash of a wound, delicate is our soft skin
The color of a face in rage as beating as a house in flames
The rose petals from a previous lover, laying discarded from the plant, much as the connection you once had
Now ripped from the roots, given to you knowing it would not last
