Touch, is a mighty thing
From the tips of your fingers
To the balls of your feet
Opposing forces, complete
A warm touch, on a cold day
Carrying nothing but sadness
But then a stranger comes your way
It seems they wear rags, but smile as they pass
Then you feel a hand upon your shoulder
You look up to pass along a smile as you head for the smoulder
Daybreak always makes me feel older
But a soft touch, and a smiling face
Coincides with envy, and hate
Walking on, with grace
