Short update on my life: I came out 🙂
I posted a short version of my day on Twitter earlier but I’ll post the longer version of it here ! sorry if you have to double read my posts but I double love you for following me in both places 😘)
anyway, I went to the dr today and decided i was gonna tell them i consider myself transgender and want to keep open the possibility of bigger steps towards a real transition. So I did that ! Very professional but also very accepting and understanding. Perfect reaction from a health care physician you’d want.
Then I felt I was on a roll so I got home and told my mom too! First person IRL I’ve ever told and it went over well also. Very understanding and accepting which I knew she would be. Nothing really changes! I’m Still the same person, but at least now she knows I identify a certain way and I don’t feel like I’m hiding from something invisible.
