The elevator doors slid shut, and I felt the air change instantly — quiet, heavy, like the space itself knew what was about to happen.
He looked at me without saying a word. One slow step forward — and I could feel his breath brush against my neck.
I leaned back against the wall, pretending to stay calm, but my pulse gave me away. His fingers traced the edge of my jacket, then slipped just enough to touch my skin.
It was one of those moments where time freezes — every sound disappears, except for the sound of breathing, the rustle of fabric, the tiny hum of the elevator.
My lips parted, almost involuntarily. His hand stopped for a second — as if asking a question. I didn’t answer with words.
When the elevator moved again, we both smiled — like two people who knew they’d crossed a line, and didn’t regret it.💋
