Today has been extremely difficult for me as a transgender woman and a friend. I lost a good friend of mine. A trans girl named Ava today who committed suicide and on top of all of that, Trump just passed the bill that effectively makes it to wear every single trans woman, no matter what age will not have access to healthcare anymore in America, we won’t be able to get our hormone replacement therapy and we won’t be able to get gender, affirming surgeries like breast augmentation or vagina plasty or any other procedures like facial feminization surgery. I just have to hope that medical covers my boobs still and my hip augmentation. And that my HRT will not disappear. I will say straight up if I lose access to my hormones, I cannot promise that my mental health won’t go to complete and utter shit. I’m gonna try to stay positive as best as I can, but it’s getting pretty dark these days.
