Jinkies and happy Thursday!! I don't know about you guys, but I really liked the original Hanna-Barbera Scooby-Doo, and I still watch it occasionally to this day. The aesthetic/style of that show was super awesome, and I loved some of the monsters. I also liked the newer version from the early 2000s, but mostly cause Simple Plan did the theme song and it's really good, as well as the live action movie that was pretty weird. I learned recently that the original plan for the live action movie was to gear it more towards an adult audience with them actually addressing Shaggy being a stoner, the ladies being very scantily clad, and perhaps even a little bit of lesbianism, which I think would have been super interesting and fun. I actually think a property like Scooby-Doo would be perfect to do something more serious or dark, just cause it's so ridiculous and taking it in the complete opposite direction would be fun. My last fun fact is that Scooby's real name is "Scoobert Doo" which is fucking hilarious lol
