My grandma called me today. She told me her neighbor is trying to get rid of his dog, he says it doesn’t bark and doesn’t guard the house, so it’s useless. She felt so sorry for the poor thing… but also admitted she couldn’t take it in. She lives alone, she’s older, it’s too much. Still she keeps thinking“Maybe I should’ve tried?”
I get that feeling. I often feel guilty too when I see stray animals or shelters. It’s a quiet pain, being kind but not capable of saving everyone😔 But knowing my grandma - I think she will addobt that dog after all
