I still don’t totally understand how tapas are supposed to work, and that makes me like them more.
Sometimes it’s one dish and a drink. Sometimes it’s four things and someone else is still hungry. Sometimes the olives are weirdly perfect. It’s never really about the food, and somehow always about the food.
It’s loud and slow and a little messy and not really designed for anyone in a rush (kind of like Chinese dim sum….? ) which feels like a forever chats and munching on yummy food haha
