Yesterday afternoon I took an Uber over to Larchmont and posed for my friend Rob, an artist that had sketched me via Zoom during the lockdown. It was waaay more fun to strip and hold those poses in person. And I’m so glad he took a very hands-on approach to his giving direction. 😏 He asked if he could take these nude reference photos…his process is he draws for about 15 minutes for each pose and then fills in the greater detail later. It’s funny. When artists used to ask me about reference photos I used to say, “For sure please just don’t share them.” Yesterday I said, “For sure just so long as I can share them.” Check out gaydudesketches on Twitter.
