Simple post, complex thoughts… like how did the emergence of bubonic plague contribute to the fall of the western Roman Empire? Answer: Plague bad. Plague spread easily in roman cities. Plague causes lots and lots of dead people. Dead people can't pay taxes. Or build anything. Or grow anything. So, collapse of empire.
